Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel landed in Mumbai this morning and have had an eventful day promoting their film ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage.’ They were completely taken aback by the warm welcome they received at the airport in a splendid, traditional Indian way with dhol and band baaja!

After a restful morning, they headed to interact with the media at a press conference held in St. Regis. The director of  ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage,’ DJ Caruso was also present at the event.
Vin Diesel spoke at length about how he always wanted to visit India and that he’s already made some wonderful memories in just a few hours of being in the city.
It was also heartening to see the American star looking absolutely dapper in an Indian attire!
The event was packed with eminent personalities from the media and the press conference was a huge success where the trio spoke about the film and their experience at length.
He posted a picture with Deepika on his Instagram account with the caption, “So honored to be in India for the first time. The xXx Global tour has been great and now I and @deepikapadukone are going to share this film with her country today. As a child I always dreamed of visiting India… Thank you Paramount for making this dream come true. Xander.”
The press conference was followed by a special fan interaction. Vin Diesel has a huge fan following in India and was keen to interact and connect with his fans here.
Deepika and Vin made a thrilling glass-shattering entry at the event and drove the fans to madness! The fans were in a frenzy and the duo had a gala time interacting with them.
The popular music sensation, DJ Nucleya was present to add electrifying beats to the event and make the stars and the fans groove!
Overwhelmed by the fan interaction, Deepika and Vin headed straight to their film’s red carpet and grand premiere event.
The red carpet was a star-studded event with the who’s who of Bollywood eagerly waiting to watch the grand premiere.
 ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ is all set to release in India on 14th January, 2017.
