The episode starts with Shanaya asking Pushpa about her room. Pushpa says that Shanaya does not have a room. She explains that there is only one room, which belongs to Ashwin and Deepti, and Shanaya will have to sleep with her in the hall. Shanaya asks for her mobile phone. Pushpa says her phone is spoiled and she can buy a ₹5,000 mobile, but for that she needs to earn money through community work. Shanaya feels frustrated.
Chirag serves food to Bapodhara and the others. Bapodhara misses Prarthna and is about to get up from the dining table. Chirag stops him and says they need to live to fulfill Prarthna’s dreams. He says he needs all of their blessings to do it, so he asks him to eat. Chirag makes Bapodhara eat food. Susheela gets emotional.
A car arrives at the chawl. A constable gives the keys to Pushpa. Pushpa recalls how that car caused the accident involving Prarthna and her. Bapodhara asks Pushpa to remove the car from the chawl. Chirag says it is a court order and it is a promise made on Prarthna’s name, so they should leave it. Chirag takes Bapodhara away from there. Hasmukh asks Pushpa why she brought the car there. Pushpa says she does not want Shanaya to forget how she killed Prarthna in the accident, and that is why she brought it. Ashwin asks Pushpa to stop crossing her limits, but Pushpa comments back.
Later, the family members sit on the floor to eat food. Pushpa asks Shanaya to sit on the floor and eat with them, otherwise she will not get any food. She says it is better than going to jail, so Shanaya should decide. Shanaya sits on the floor. Dilip and the kids leave with their plates. Shanaya eats a spoon of food but spits it out, saying there is a stone in the dal. Pushpa says Shanaya did not clean the pulses properly and that she is responsible. Shanaya gets angry and throws the plate. Pushpa tells her to clean the place, otherwise she will have to go to jail. Shanaya agrees and starts cleaning in anger.
Later, Shanaya cannot sleep on the floor. She wonders how she will survive there for three years. She quietly takes her car keys, starts the car, plays loud music, and sleeps inside it. Pushpa and the whole colony wake up. Bapodhara tells Pushpa that he does not entertain this kind of nonsense in the chawl. Pushpa bangs on the car window and makes Shanaya come out. Bapodhara tries to burn the car, but Pushpa stops him. Rashi and Susheela tell Pushpa that they do not know whether Shanaya will change or not, but her presence there is hurting them badly. Pushpa asks Rashi to go inside. Shanaya goes away and everyone leaves.
Dilip asks Pushpa to send Shanaya to a juvenile home. Pushpa says she wants to prove that Shanaya is not a minor. She also says she wants Shanaya to repent for her mistake and stay there to feel the pain of the sin she committed every minute. Dilip asks Pushpa to go to sleep.
Shanaya feels hungry. At 2 o’clock, she tells Pushpa that she is hungry. Pushpa says Shanaya did not do any work today, so she does not have money to order food. Shanaya says she needs something to eat. Pushpa brings curd and tells her to eat it. Shanaya refuses. Pushpa says it is her wish and goes to sleep.
Shanaya hears a sound. She comes out and sees Chirag playing carrom. Shanaya sits in front of him. She says that he claimed he would not let her live peacefully and asks how he plans to do that. Chirag throws the carrom board. Both of them warn each other. Chirag leaves.
Episode ends.
Precap: Bapodhara asks Pushpa and Shanaya to leave the chawl. Pushpa says he cannot decide that and only the court can make that decision. Bapodhara says he will get the order.
Our Take:
This episode shows Pushpa taking a tough stand to make Shanaya realize the seriousness of her mistake. While Shanaya struggles to adjust to the simple life in the chawl, Pushpa remains determined to make her repent for Prarthna’s death. The tension between Shanaya and Chirag also hints at more conflicts ahead. It will be interesting to see whether Shanaya truly changes or if Bapodhara succeeds in forcing Pushpa and Shanaya to leave the chawl.
