By Gossips Tv : Zee TV’s longest-running show Kumkum Bhagya, which premiered in 2014, might soon wrap up. According to industry reports, the show is likely to go off-air in February 2025. The series, produced by Ekta Kapoor, has undergone two major generational leaps. Initially led by Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia as Pragya and Abhi, it later transitioned to Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul, portraying Prachi and Ranbir in the second generation. The current storyline focuses on the third generation.
Rumors suggest that Kumkum Bhagya may be replaced by another show starring Shabbir Ahluwalia, also produced by Ekta Kapoor. This speculation follows Zee TV’s recent decision to end Kundali Bhagya, another popular show that ran for seven years.
Interestingly, the characters of Prachi and Ranbir, portrayed by Chaphekar and Kaul, have unofficially exited, adding fuel to rumors of the show’s impending closure. While no official confirmation has been made, the show’s declining ratings and the network’s recent strategic shifts suggest that Kumkum Bhagya may be heading toward its climax.
Fans of the show eagerly await updates, hoping for a fitting conclusion to a series that has been a part of their lives for over a decade. Until then, viewers can only speculate about what lies ahead for the beloved daily soap.
