The episode starts with Shiu and Bhavani instigating Mahadji against Radhabai. They tell him Radhabai is cunning and she wants to take huge amount of money from them after Kashi and Bajirao’s marriage. So he should reject the proposal instantly. Radhabai knowingly took Balaram to Saswad just to fulfil her motive. Shiu says Balaji is also involved in this plan and he changed with time. He is using Mahadji as a ladder to get a good political position. Bhavani manipulates Mahadji into writing a letter to Balaji using strict words. He should not think about friendship. Mahadji agrees.
Kashi asks Ganga what she should write in the letter for Bajirao. Ganga says she is not allowed to tell anything. Kashi recalls all the incidents and writes the letter. Mai waits for the answer. Mahadji gives her the letter and tells her to leave with the presents. Mai tells him to think once again but Mahadji replies he already thought about it. Kashi stops Mai and gives her the letter saying this is for Bajirao and she will never marry her enemy. She will keep loving pots and keep performing rituals which he doesn’t like. He even fought with her when she was his guest. Mai says Bajirao is good hearted. Bhavani says Kashi wrote what she noticed in Saswad wada. Mahadji says but Bajirao doesn’t have idea about the marriage. Shiu says ofcourse he has idea of his own marriage.
Bajirao does sword practice and says how can his mother talk about his marriage with Kashi. She doesn’t know how to talk. His siblings make mud house and miss Kashi. Bajirao asks about her health indirectly. Balaji tells him to say things clearly as his confusing attitude won’t make him a good warrior or a good king. Bajirao says sorry and asks how is Kashi. Balaji reveals Radhabai was joking. Shiu tells Kashi that they wanted her to get married as soon as possible because of this, else Bajirao’s family will never leave her alone. Kashi says they are right, she has to get married to get rid of Bajirao.
Mai returns and gives the letter to Radhabai. Radhabai seems excited to know what happened and later she gets upset learning that Mahadji rejected their proposal. Radhabai asks Mai why she didn’t insist. Mai replies Shiu and Bhavani were manipulating Mahadji as they dislike Radhabai and he couldn’t take a decision on his own. Balaji reads the letter and gets embarrassed reading the strict denial. He tells Radhabai to let go of her adamance as they are already embarrassed enough by sending the proposal. Now how will he face Mahadji. Radhabai gets sad.
Mai gives Kashi’s letter to Bajirao and the latter decides to read it alone as Kashi might have used insulting words for him. Bajirao gets angry reading the adjectives Kashi wrote for him that he is uncivilised, cruel etc. Bajirao imagines Kashi and argues with her saying how can she insult him like this. He gets shocked to know that shagun was sent to Chaskaman from his side. He realises he is talking to his brother. Baji confronts Radhabai that who sent marriage proposal to Kashi. Balaji says they sent but Mahadji rejected the proposal so Bajirao should relax as he will never marry Kashi. Bajirao says but Kashi insulted him by sending letter. Balaji says she is younger than him thus he should forgive her. They shouldn’t have sent the proposal. Baji leaves with Balaji. Mahadji meets the groom’s family and talks about fixing the marriage date. Radhabai says she lost. Mai tells her to not lose hope as from childhood she is fighting and she turned the impossible things into possible. So she will find a solution for this too.
