The episode starts with Kashi singing lullaby for Nanashaheb and Ganga says Mahapurohit arrived to meet her. Kashi wonders what might be the reason as he was angry last time. Mahapurohit asks Baji to not give presents as he already brought Mastani and shocked everyone.
Kashi comes with Nana and Mahapurohit says he didn’t expect this behaviour from Kashi who is very good at handling her duties towards Peshwai. Kashi says but he should not be angry at Nana atleast. Mahapurohit says he will predict Nana’s future. He sees his palm and says Nana has rajyog and he will be greater Peshwa than Baji.
Everyone gets happy to hear that but Mahapurohit tells Kashi and Baji to conduct a puja for Nana as its important to remove all obstacles in Rajyog. He asks Baji to attend the puja with Kashi. Baji agrees and Matang Mastani overhear that. Matang tells Mastani to test Bajirao’s love for her. She tells Mastani to tell a lie to Baji that its her birthday today. Baji will decide whether he will choose Kashi’s son or Mastani’s birthday.
Mastani says but she can’t lie to which Matang says this is the right time to test Bajirao’s priorities. Mastani says then she will try this too as everyone is questioning her love and trust for Baji. Baji helps in making the arrangements for Puja and Kashi gets delighted to see that. He says he is doing it for Kashi and Nana both. Matang tells Baji about Mastani’s birthday and the latter surprises Mastani by showering rose petals on her. He says why she didn’t tell him before about her birthday.
She says she thought he will remember. She says she wants to see the north side of the wada with him and wants to spend some quality time. Matang learns the puja muhurat is in the evening so he signals Mastani. Mastani tells Baji to come in the evening. Baji accepts her demand and promises her. Matang gets overjoyed and Mastani says she knows Baji will come for sure.
Baji gets to know about the puja muhurat and gets worried. Kashi learns from Ganga that Mastani has birthday today. Kashi finds something fishy and says its not mere coincidence. She goes to meet Mastani with presents. Mastani decorates the wada with Matang. Kashi wishes her happy birthday and says its surprising that her birthday is on the same day when they will conduct a puja for Nanashaheb.
Mastani makes excuses that she forgot about her birthday and she wishes to spend time with Baji now. Its upto him whom he will choose to spend time with. Kashi says but even if its her birthday Baji should be with his son only. She will tolerate everything but won’t accept when it comes to her son. She gifts a knife to Mastani as birthday gift and leaves.
Mahapurohit calls Baji and Kashi for the puja. Kashi gets ready and Baji says he is in a tough spot. He can’t understand what he will choose. Kashi says he should think why Mastani’s birthday is today only when it’s an important day for their son. Baji says she meant Mastani is lying.
Kashi says she is not sure but whatever it is, Baji should be with his son only today. This puja is for their son’s future. She won’t compromise and she doesn’t care about others. Baji says he knows that but Mastani has noone with her today though Kashi has many people. Kashi says her son is her first priority. He says but he already promised Mastani to spend time with her.
