The episode starts with Mahadji telling his wives that he can’t change the destiny and they should also support Baji and Kashi’s marriage. They should consider it as their punishment for their son’s betrayal. Kashi’s marriage will take place after three days. Krishna Rao tells Ramdas that Kashi can’t get a better husband than Baji. Ramdas replies the latter should at least think about her sister. Bhawani tells Shiu for the first time Mahadji is forcing his decision on them. They feel helpless. They say that their love for Kashi can’t let this happen. Balarao learns Kashi and Baji’s marriage got fixed. Balarao’s friend says this is a good news and they should celebrate as Kashibai will get married to a soldier. But Balarao injures him saying Radhabai tricked him very smartly and fixed the marriage. His friend is unable to understand him. So he won’t see his face again. Balarao decides to meet Shiu and Bhawani at a temple. Shiu tells Bhawani that Balarao is their son and he might have learned about Kashi’s marriage and Radhabai’s conspiracy. So they should meet him. Bhawani feels scared.
Mahadji calls the priest to fix the marriage date. Radhabai and Balaji check the preparations. Bajirao looks upset. Radhabai cheers him up saying everything happens for a reason. Bajirao says he can’t be happy and Balaji reminds him of his duty. He tells Baji to not look sad. Baji leaves. Shiu tells Bhawani that they have to take a strong step else Kashi’s life will be destroyed. Bhawani says they can’t meet Balarao as Mahadji will get furious. Shiu says they will tolerate his anger but can’t take risk with Kashi’s life. Mahadji tells Ramdas to send the shagun to Balaji’s house. He tells Krishna Rao to bring Kashi to touch the shagun. Mahadji learns Shiu and Bhawani went to visit temple.
Bhawani and shiu reach temple. They wait for Balarao, and Bhawani thinks Balarao will not come. But Balarao meets them in disguise. Balarao tells them that they don’t have enough time. They have to take Kashi to him before her marriage. King Shahu can’t do anything if Kashi stays in queen’s area. They don’t have any option. Bhawani says they can’t elope like this without Mahadji’s knowledge. Balarao replies but she should think from a mother’s point of view. Shiu supports Balarao. He tells them to meet him near river side. Mahadji visits the same temple and Balarao hides seeing him. Shiu and Bhawani tell Mahadji that they came here for peace of mind. Mahadji tells them to accept Kashi and Baji’s marriage. Radhabai performs haldi kumkum ritual with ladies and shares her happiness. Bhawani gets doubtful as she doesn’t think they should elope and ruin Mahadji’s reputation. He can even sacrifice his life for king Shahu. So their action will hurt him. Shiu replies Mahadji was also against the marriage, so they have to prove their love for Kashi. May be Mahadji will also feel proud of them later as he loves his daughter the most. Mahadji asks them to prepare Kashi for ritual.
Kashi refuses to perform any kind of ritual. Shiu and Bhawani talk to Kashi alone. Kashi asks them if they also accepted Baji. Bhawani says they are against the marriage and they have a plan. Shiu and Bhawani run with Kashi. She asks them where are they going. Shiu says they are taking her far away from Bajirao. Kashi says but her father will be angry. Bhawani says they don’t have time to convince him. Kashi gets tired and says they can’t meet Balarao as Mahadji is against him. She tells them to go back home but Shiu and Bhawani forcibly take her to Balarao. Some dacoits surround Shiu, Kashi, and Bhawani. They tie them with ropes. Shiu calls Balarao for help and the latter tells the soldiers to help them. Kashi looks frightened.
